2025 Our Voice Bursary

In Partnership with Ballet Cymru

For artists of the Global Majority who are seeking to develop as choreographers.

The 2025 Our Voice Bursary aims to support two artists of the Global Majority, for one year, to develop as choreographers and to build connections in the arts sector in Wales to lead to touring and presenting opportunities for their work.

Daughters of the Sea

I’m incredibly excited to announce a Ballet Cymru and Krystal S. Lowe co-production entitled Daughters of the Sea!

This bold adaptation of the Welsh folktale Merched y Môr will be written and choreographed by myself. Daughters of the Sea will bring audiences an engaging combination of folklore and bilingual new writing accompanying dynamic dance and Kizzy Crawford’s innovative fusing of soul, funk, and jazz music.

Keep an eye out for much more as we dive into the making of this new work!

Daughters of the Sea is funded by Arts Council Wales, Welsh Government, National Lottery, and Tŷ Cerdd.

A Woman At Rest

A part of Black Oot Here and There Exhibition.

Black Oot Here and There" is a collaborative online exhibition. It includes creations and reflections on Black life in Scotland and Wales, while acknowledging the connectedness of experiences and histories elsewhere.

A Woman At Rest' is a raw and unfiltered sharing of my thoughts, struggles, and journey toward rest. It explores sexual pleasure, lessons learned from nature, and the intricacies of womanhood. Please share in my journey should these themes align with you.
