Bwriadwn gyflogi amrywiaeth o weithwyr llawrydd er mwyn cefnogi a datblygu dull o weithio a phroses sy’n hybu bod yn amlieithog ac amlddiwylliannol er mwyn hyrwyddo Amlieithedd: Creu geirfa Gymraeg, Iaith Arwyddo Brydeinig a Saesneg craidd er mwyn ei ddefnyddio’n ‘gydradd’ ym mhob proses a pherfformiad creadigol a gweithdy cyfranogol.        

Mae angen felly i ni wneud pethau’n wahanol ac mae’r modd y byddwn yn recriwtio yn allweddol i hyn. Hoffem recriwtio 4 o bobl i’n helpu i wneud hyn.

Bydd angen 3 recriwtiwr ac un arweinydd tîm/recriwtiwr fydd yn goruchwylio, trefnu ac arwain ar y tîm recriwtio rhydd-gyfrannol hwn.

Bydd y cytundebau am 3 neu 4 diwrnod hyblyg (Mae un diwrnod yn cyfateb i 8 awr) rhwng Ionawr 17 ac Ebrill 18, 2022

Gwybodaeth ynglŷn â’r project

Drwy gydol y 18-mis nesaf, bydd y partneriaid project, Deaf Hub Wales, Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru, Krystal S. Lowe, Cwmni Dawns Cenedlaethol Cymru, Cwmni Theatr Taking Flight, a’r Gymdeithas Frenhinol dros Warchod Adar yn datblygu cynulleidfaoedd newydd, cyfranogwyr, ac artistiaid, gyda ffocws penodol ar groestoriadau pobl B/byddar, Du a Chymraeg eu hiaith. 

Byddwn yn creu dulliau croestoriadol o rannu, cynhyrchu, a thrafod ‘celfyddydau & diwylliant’. Byddwn yn chwilota sut mae defnyddio mannau agored i wella llesiant, hyrwyddo cynaliadwyedd amgylcheddol, a chynhwysiad diwylliannol. Adeiladwn berthnasau newydd a hirhoedlog rhwng sefydliadau /gweithwyr llawrydd o wahanol gyd-destunau; a hyrwyddo dawns fel ffurf gelfyddydol gynhwysol a hygyrch.

Mae’r gyriant tuag at gydraddoldeb yn y celfyddydau wedi arwain at nifer o brojectau yn canolbwyntio ar un agwedd o allgau. Fodd bynnag, mae gan nifer o bobl mwy nag un nodwedd warchodedig (haenu), ac mae risg ychwanegol y bydd pobl nad sy’n wyn, sydd ddim yn wrywod yn cael eu hallgau ymhob nodwedd (croestoriadedd). Mae’r project hwn yn cyfeirio at y diffyg croestoriadedd/haenu mewn cynyrchiadau diwylliannol prif ffrwd ac yn talu sylw arbennig at groestoriadau Du/B/byddar/Cymraeg. Rydym wedi lleoli rhan o’r project mewn mannau awyr agored er mwyn cyfeirio at absenoldeb profiadau/hanesion croestoriadol mewn mannau cyhoeddus. Tra bod budd cael mynediad i natur ar lesiant wedi ei ddogfennu’n helaeth, maen nhw’n fannau un-ddiwyllianol gan fwyaf.

Disgwyliwn mai un deilliant o’r project hwn fydd cael grŵp amrywiol o artistiaid a sefydliadau a all gyd-greu gyda chymunedau a gafodd eu hymylu. Gobeithiwn bydd y perthnasau cymunedol yn ymestyn tu hwnt i gyfnod 18 mis y project, gan arwain at brojectau arloesol a grëwyd ar y cyd yn y dyfodol. Call out for four Freelance Recruiters

Deadline to apply: January  9 2022

We are seeking to engage a diversity of freelancers to support and develop a multilingual, multicultural approach and process and promote Multilingualism: Creating a core Welsh, British Sign Language, and English vocabulary to be used ‘equally’ in all creative processes, performances, and participatory workshops.    

We therefore need to do things differently and how we recruit is key. We would like to recruit 4 people to help us do this.

We need 3 recruiters and 1 recruiter/team leader who will oversee, schedule and lead this freelance recruitment team.

The contracts are for 3 and 4 flexible working days (One day is equal to 8 hours)  between January 17 & April 18 2022

Fee:                

3 Recruiters £200 a day (total contract for 3 days work £600) 

1 Recruiter & Team Leader £250 a day (total contract £1000 for 4 days work) 

Please note these are One-off all-inclusive freelance fees

Main Duties:        

  • Raise awareness of the project, it’s aims and objectives and live call outs for available paid opportunities;

  • Field recruitment to drive applications from groups and backgrounds historically under-represented in the cultural and arts sector;

  • Sift and sort through all applications and select for interview;

  • Interview and appoint various freelance roles;

  • Explore & share innovative ways of recruiting in the arts and cultural sectors;

  • Contribute to the overall and final evaluation of the project.

Team Leader additional Main Duties:  

  • Schedule, lead and manage all aspects of the recruitment programme and team of  freelance recruiters     

      

Essential:

  • Available for interview week commencing 9-14 January 2022 for selection conversations

  • Ability to commit to 3 or 4 days work between January 17 an April 30 2022

  • Passionate about equality, inclusivity and social justice within society including the arts and cultural sector in Wales

  • A team player, self-motivated and highly organised

  • Strong communication skills

  • A desire to do things differently

  • A willingness to learn

  • A creative thinker

  • Self-employed status

Project Information:  

Throughout the next 18-months, project partners, Deaf Hub Wales, Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru, Krystal S. Lowe,  National Dance Company Wales, Taking Flight Theatre Company, and The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds will develop new audiences, participants, and artists, with specific focus on the intersections of D/deaf, Black, and Welsh speaking people. 

We will create intersectional approaches to sharing, producing, and discussing ‘arts & culture’. Explore how outdoor spaces can be used to enhance wellbeing, promote environmental sustainability, and cultural inclusion. Build new, long lasting relationships between organisations/freelancers from different contexts; and promote dance as an inclusive, accessible artform.

The drive towards equity in the arts has led to many projects focusing on a single aspect of exclusion. However, many people hold more than one protected characteristic (intersectionality/layering), and non-white, non-male people are at additional risk of exclusion in all characteristics. This project addresses the lack of intersectionality/layering in mainstream cultural production with specific attention to the Black/D/deaf/Welsh speaking intersections. We have located part of the project in outdoor spaces to address the absence of intersectional experiences/narratives in public spaces. Whilst the benefits of access to green spaces on wellbeing are well documented, they are mostly monocultural-spaces.

We expect one outcome of this project to be a diverse group of artists, and organisations who are able to co-create with communities. We hope the community relationships will extend beyond the 18 month duration of the project, leading to innovative co-created projects in the future. By living our values of equity, and co-creation, will we draw on the combined knowledge of all contributors ensuring artistic integrity.
